So oft' found in her words
this comfort of soul,
where hope does reside.

Constant is her courage
lying within.......her heart of gold.

An example to all,
accentuated only
by her grace of faith and devotion.

A hand offered in friendship
and a shoulder leaned upon  in tears,
while the celebration of life
continues   evermore.

In her sharing, is her caring....
In her spirit, a wealth of giving.

Many times an inspire
and a treasure to behold.
In receiving,
comes the giving........

Her hand...........has held ours.......
and may she always know...........

that ours, is here................to hold

I know that you can 'read' me
but can you  'hear'  "me"?

Donna, this is so beautiful. I know that our
sweet little Chippymunk will love it. I pray
that our friend Lyra knows that we all feel
the way you put so well into words.

It never hurts to hold your hand out twice so up to the top with this for Lyra.   You are so right Donna, she is the first there to lend a smile and a hand, now she needs to know she has ours too.  Lovely poem.

Donna,
Can't believe I missed this. Thank you Mysteria. And indeed a loving and tender poem of support and encouragement. Bless you dear girl.

Lyra,
