the ass-end of space

I never could trust a man
I couldn't look in the eye
So I pierced the heart of the matter
with a dagger of rationality
How the hot blood did flow
in sombre red rivers of truths
which once lay concealed
I dragged the corpse of dogma
into a forest of fruitless ideals
and buried it under logic
But freedom never easily won
beneath the soil a voice I still hear
echoing from a recess in my psyche
the haunting reminder of dependence

(a draft)
"Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death."

And the quest continues.

But,

The portion of rationality is determined by the rationer.

You're onto something.

And? A Nin fan as well?

Excellent

The quest seems never ending and patience sometimes wears thin. But there's is turning back now live or decay. Thanks for the words.

Recently introduced to Anais Nin she's brilliant. I'm more so a Herman Hesse devotee.

I have trouble looking people into the eye all of the time. I dont know why, it certainly is silly and petty. Eye contact scares me sometimes. Those darn idols. Sir Francis Bacon knew what he was talking about. Geez, we're only humans laden with unfortunate reaction... i dont think anybody is to blame.. given each individual's model of the world, we are all in the right. Ponder that river of truth.
Peace

(sigh) Yes, life is but a series of trials we must endure, a survival of nthe fittest that everyone can win if you believe in your heart! A three-legged race, a walk on the tightrope, a pole-vault to the gate of destiny! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is a wonderful depending poem, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Raphael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
