You flash before my mind,
awakening thoughts
I put to sleep
long ago.

For a rainy day?
Another time?
What's the reason?
I know not why.

...Yet now...

I feel the need and want
and desire of you,
and ask how
could this happen,
it can't be real?

I live in the depth,
the grace and wise of you,
and ask how
could this happen,
the way I feel?

I crave your touch,
your breath,
the presence of you,

and smiling, I ask.....

Why not? For who could resist
the  ~charming you~!

.
.
.

..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons..

Pat, yes indeed, "who could resist the ~charming YOU"~!--and your writing! This may have been "simply put", but it has depth!

Pat, I love this, too. It has so much
feeling and emotion in it. It just
feels so real. Thanks for sharing, friend.
