stars shine in December,
to fall,
land without sound,
the ground is littered with diamonds.

I breathe and the air sighs,
the snow begins to melt,
rains softly,
I become the snow,
As the rain tricles through me,
To the earth

Is the ground dead,
just asleep?
This is what I ask the moon,
glimmering innocently above,
cushioned by clouds.

seeds are sprouting inside of me,
even in the winter.
black birds fly,
dark as the velvet sky,
pillows of coldess
But I am warm inside.

if I said one word,
you would not understand
all that is left is music.

another one of those things that don't have to make sense. It is just music, listen and if you read it again, I swear you can hear it....

Wind - your words carry from a heart to the wind. I understand all of them written here... Peace be with you...

I like your ending with music and felt your words packed a surprise in each line. Thank you.

Sounds can evoke great emotion, and music can take you anywhere you wish to go.

Wind...December is "my" month, but I have never seen it written so well...

Thank you for this.  It is in my library...

Read twice, thrice,  into the infinite
warmth and touch that this poem gives...

As the winds caress within your words...

Well done!

(smiles) Oh Liz, the spring is my favorite time of year so I always try and think of spring in November or December and imagine baby bluebirds singing and they always make me happy inside and I hear the music myself! (kiss on cheek) This is beautiful, sweet friend, God Bless You, always follow the melody of your golden heart, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Liz, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
