Caught you lookin, you start smiling
Your eyes so blue, your lips inviting
like a portrait, an artist's dream
I see you like a beauty queen

Chorus
Oh girl I can't tell Picasso from Van Gogh
I've never studied fine art
But you paint love for me with your soul
and your love's a work of heart.

Look at me now, staring at you
after all these years my heart still moves
art galleries, fashion magazines
can't compare to the picture I see

Bridge:
You never asked me for a fancy home
with famous paintings on the wall
But the gallery of treasures we share
no work of art can recall.

Chorus:
Oh girl I can't tell Picasso from Van Gogh
I've never studied fine art
But you paint love for me with your soul
and your love's a work of heart.

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

Now I love your play on words in the title just so much fun!  I always enjoy reading what you are up to, and this was no exception.

Let there be peace on earth,
and let it begin with me.

(smiles) Oh Eric, this is soooooooo gorgeous, sweet friend, I too love all art and don't care who paints what as all art is made from the heart as love is what makes it possible! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is wonderful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
