Reflections On Regrets
{from the rambling series}

Lazy gray rainy day
surrounds my thoughts
as I sit in quiet contemplation
of what once was   and that
which life    has become.

Regrets.
I choose not to harbor regrets,
for each one that I would hold
has somewhow affected me
       with     positive effect.

Reflect.
Yes, I reflect on those things
which have caused past pains

but I push them aside
so that rather      I can celebrate
what has become    due to that
which once upon a time          was.

Destinies Uknown.
Yet, I face them now
being able to stand       steadfast
in knowing that I am          stronger now
because I was weaker

then.

I know that you can 'read' me
but can you  'hear'  "me"?

This is perfect. Very wise and I couldn't agree more. I like the way you've written these ideas, so poetically, you have done it well. Enjoyed.

Thank you for this.

Warm regards, Pat

Very wise words, my friend...and a positive outlook.     *hugs*

Much wisdom here GS..(and wonderfully spoken I might add). Haven't quite reached that level of "growth" yet, but I try hard.  There's something about grease on the road that makes it a real "backsliding" trip though...ha!

Enjoyed this much.

Beautiful sentiment, I've yet to come to terms with my regrets but hope to do so one day with the grace and courage found within your words.
