Tucked away,
the tragedy of the years gone by
the tattered me
wanting just another day
without living my memories in you
to erase those that once made me smile
but must have been a farce.

My eyes are calling for you
the tall of you to lean against
to look up to,
wanting just one kiss
to know my lips still feel.

Is that too much to ask,
does it have to be spoken?

Once upon a time
I was in control, a dream catcher
arresting the tiny bubbles of my reality,
turning them into fantasies of you.
Then one day my webbing shrunk
in the storm and I squeezed you out
for one last dream,
the one that "never will".

Today is a tuck away day,
not knowing what I am missing.

M

I love the concepts of a tuck away day...
It doesn't matter if the sun is bright or dim...it always shines here. ThisDiamond
