From an eternal branch
falls fruit

as the seed was flung
the blood
will ever flow

In the first strand of DNA
Is God

Take the beggar kicked and raked
“Do unto thee”
“Do unto Me”

I cling fast to my last
dollar
as someone leers at me and sneers at me
the eternal branch is
stanched

Through the seed
The blood
is flowing
and the chances are
irrefutable

I am a son of God

Well, look here. I just replied to your other poem, came back on the page, and found you again.
I'm glad I did. I like the way you write, Walt.

and if not God,
