Expression Of fantasies my stock and trade In wily wiles and dream cascade Where pendulums swing steady rhyme And disregard the tick of time. I rule this place of fantasy And stock it full of ecstasy From moments gone of past and lost Where beauty lies and has no cost. I leave the weary of my day Sail a ship through sandman’s way Find a shoal where flies the dove And spend the nights on Isles of love. I build my castles in the air Dispense the grace I would not dare. I touch upon infinity Or close in it’s vicinity. It does not offer indent peace But helps me with the present lease. |
