No..

Not this life for us, my friend, Not this time around.

This world we're in's a lil' screwed up, and its got me feeling down.

I finally got it earlier today,
It brought tears to my eyes.

The moment I realized, we're lovers in disguise.

No..

We cant do what we came here for, cuz someone screwed it up,

But know I love you anyway, and for now thats enough.

Next time around we'll try again. Next time, our souls unfurl..

I call next dance, my darling, and it's my turn to be the girl!!

No..

I'm sitting out this dance, my friend, I must sit here and rest.

This world of death and hatred puts me strongly to the test.

Not this time around, my friend, I feel I cant romance.

What with the things we live among, I must sit out this dance.

I have sent you nothing but angels, and I have placed nothing but miracles before you.

=================================

it does weigh us down and take away the joy sometimes....this reminds me of a friend who wont have any children...says she wont bring them into such a world of uncertainty...
(shes adopted several older children)

But know I love you anyway, and for now thats enough.

but see..even when it seems to be too much...
you found the hope and the reason to go on.
Wisdom in your words Poet sir

No one has ever shown me how to see the world the way I see it now ...
and I never saw blue like that before.

Great piece of work here...
but given the chance...
I would rather not miss the dance.

I am not sure which I like most, this poem, or your critique box.....

Both are outstanding, I would say.

Thank you so much for sharing your
talent with us.

I enjoyed this a great deal. Wise and understandable.

Warm Regards, Pat

Paul - Yes.. indeed there is deep meaning here, isnt there? I'm glad you liked.

Janet- I feel that I share your friend's sympathies regarding having children. If I'm going to have children, I'm gonna teach em right, and not let the idiots feed his/her head with the myths and nightmares that I had to endure. Yes.. I see the undying caring for another as a very strong positive spiritual reincforcement now.. not just a savage need to procreate. Maybe.. just maybe I could do it.. the thought of my own child brings me much joy. This world needs to change first, though.

Seymour - Thank you sir! I look forward to reading some more of YOUR mastery in the near future. Cheers.

Regards2You - Hehe.. that critique box needs to be changed.. thats been there for over a year now.. But hey we all love a little contructive criticism... you now what? I'm changing it right now! Thank you for reading. Thank you all and much love upon you.

see u soon ;-)

Spiritual.  The first time I read this, I cried...

This life can feel, sadly, in a state of distraught.  But- I don't think God ignores us
Just truly KNOW... One day the dreams WILL come.

This is so sad.  But I can't deny that I haven't felt these feelings before...O, why do we have so much hope?   Why are the most tender truths felt which such flickering inconsistency, overwhelming emotion, rareness, and COMPLETE BEAUTY???????! Life is hate-filled, vulgar, and corrosive.  It causes me so much melancholy.  Just the pain of knowing that its not supposed to be like this; we can all create such a grand reality, if we let it.  if only there wasn't so much fear, if only we could live with peaceful wisdom and serenity, if only there weren't so many bizarre and completely artificial parameters keeping us from expressing who we really are!  there are a billion reasons from keeping us from being free.

the illusion of choice...vanquishes to frail illusions chosen...

i suppose we have the choice to be free.  but never wholly.  never that.

truth, love, and joy..    God bless you... even if you decide to sit this one out..

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Joseph, while it is indeed so hard to live in a world of corruption, love is worth fighting for, so get up and join that dance and celebrate what remains true! (sigh) I send angel hugs of strength your way, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joseph, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
