The Woods
~ By Sue ~

Deep into the woods
Is the beauty of nature
God created for us

Trees stand big and tall
Shading our path for walking
Among all the trees

If you watch real close
You can see running so wild
Little creatures free

It is a pleasure
To walk deep into the woods
To see such beauty

Sue, this is really good. I love the style you wrote in.
I love to take long walks, too. God's earth is so beautiful, isn't it?
Thanks for sharing with us, sweet friend.

Sue, Great topic, and this is so true. Trees make all the difference. I live in a small town in foothills of mountains. Except for right in town, all is built ~around~ the trees, so that they are on every lot and on both sides of roads with a town ordinance of never, ever chop them down, unless needed for safety.

And the tiny (and not so tiny) critters are all around....wholesome, clean living at it's best.

Thanks for a reminder of how blessed I am, for on a ~rare~ occasion I get used to it! Until deer go bounding across the yard, with fawn following at a quick pace. Or, they stop, grazing or, just stand there, being deer! So wonderful to see nature that close.

Hugs and warm regards to you, Pat

You're so right...the woods are alive with creatures...all you have to do is sit and be still...I enjoyed this verse...
