Boughs of Rain

The boughs bow down in wet and strain
Under the weight of waters rain
And drop-by-drop the petals dance
To place me in a dreamers trance

And weary turns to passive leery
Making eerie of the bleary
That sends me into hues of taupe
Into a line of pleasures warp

For in the mist I see her clear
Warm and gentle, very near.
Waiting in the inculcate
To maximize and validate

And when she looks into my eyes
I melt into a million sighs
And when her presence takes me in
My heart turns into living skin.

She is my Eve of unrestraint
That ever lives my mind in faint.

Then I'd pen a lover's note
as she'd glance upon a quote
for she loves to dance the flame
just to sigh me Randy's name.

Seymour,

"The boughs bow down in wet and strain
Under the weight of waters rain
and drop-by-drop the petals dance
To place me in a dreamers trance"

I just love this. I have read this aloud and the sound of the words just add to the meaning so beautifully. This is a keeper.
Top of the morning to you!

Good Morning Sy ... another of your wonderful and enchanting poems to start my day.

Your rain is our snow!

This goes so well with my morning tea.
