somebody's dungeon

At times I wish only to fill the space
between water and vase,
star and bright of light
in corner of eye, that tiny place
where I, might get lost yet feel enclosed.

I wish for mere slight of movement
for an instant, trapped in miniscule
space, only a second, no more, then
escape, a free fall into vast, at last
but changed by coccoon of small,

released by the least of freedom.

Yes, I can relate to this. Sometimes I'd like to be in a tiny space in between no where, at least just for a little while.

This is excellent..it reminds me of the concept of "swaddling" a newborn--the idea being to recreate the confines of the womb, for some babies are born alarmed at their newfound freedom.

If anyone pages Dr. Freud to analyze me--can I poke them in the eye?

Hugs you.

I love the excellent imagery here, Anne...
It totally conveys that feeling of "small"

(sigh) Oh Anne, I understand this feeling, sweet friend, whether you're crowded in fame and want to find a place where there's plenty of breathing room or you're simply trying to find a refuge of serenity, this is common for all! (big hugggsssss) May you always find this little place in your heart, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

No, dear rose of white, you require a much larger space...to hold all that talent of yours!

Now shrinking to the size of a mere grain
of sand............between the water and
the vase.......

Like the thought this conveys...nicely done
Anne...
