Threw his rod a thousand times
Infinitely patient
Contentedly going home at night
After catching nothing....again

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Just throwing his [fishing] weight around,
and I imagine, enjoying the peace of
all that God laid out before him...

Very nice, Titia, very nice....

Sometimes the goal isn't to catch the fish, but to let the fish and the peaceful surroundings catch our senses...
Very lovely, Titia...
Did your husband do that painting?

Sunshine, so true your words.

Lyra, there always will be the thrill of catching, but enjoying the quiet and peace is inevitable.

Janet Marie, your brother and I should fish together some time.

The painting is made by my husband, who is an artist too, though he doesn't think so himself.

This is the way my husband fished. I always caught them all.

Titia, I love to fish, too. I like the poem and the picure that your husband painted, too. He is an artist.

What a wonderfully talented family and what a terrific collaboration. I just love it when two people work so well together.

Sometimes it's not in the catching, but the relaxing and being alone with nature that makes fishing all worth while.

Huggles to you my friend, Marti

(smiles) Oh Titia, I just love this, sweet friend, I believe that is the way every fisherman should feel, to become one with the simplistic beauty, the serenity, and breathe it all deep in ones lungs till you feel nothing but the humility! (kiss on cheek) This is gorgeous, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Titia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Smartchick, LOL when I'm fishing on salmons I want to catch them all, but when I fish in the creeks, I just catch nature.

SimplyGold, thanks

Garysgirl, I think he's an artist too and Mommy Muys is doing ok.

Nan, thanks, I just got this idea of making little poems to his drawings, who knows, the birth of another booklet.

Marti, LOL we fight a lot too you know

Marge dear lady, there are more to come! and 'aquarelle' is a beautiful word indeed.

Noah, I try to breath in the fresh air in between my cigarettes

Earth Angel, thank you dear friend.
