Listening to every heart

Pan, he hides behind
Willow’s flowing dress of green,
See pond sprites laughing
Spy hoof of him, dancing still
In the early morning light

I read this as defiance of fear. Of course, I could have read it very wrong, but that's how it came out to me. Like fear loses its hold in the morning. Much happiness!

Almost missed this....speaking strongly of
one who has come out to play,  yet hiding
among the willows...waiting...giggling..
full of whatever the wind blows..

Very enjoyable, Karilea...the poem, the picture, and the thoughts of playing "hide and seek".
