(46)

  It has been long since snowflakes fell
  from my head. But Winter fast pushes
  down Fall, and once again the dark
  thunderheads gather in the lengthening
  Darkness.

(48)

  Oil in Water minute glass,
  Flip and fall drops of clour down;
  Red to orange, orange to yellow;
  Yellow to - no. Too long in the sun;
  Sad fate to fade - better spilt.

(50)

  The snow pile on the road,
  Movers and blowers matter not;
  Howling winds of thought blow more
  On towards whatever whenever
  Wherever the train goes.
  One solitary ray would melt all things
  but only darkness Darkness.

(51)

  Doubt of doubt creeps in now;
  Is the loneliness I percieve longing for The Presence? -
  I hope not, I turned from that path long ago.

In winter, seeds find repose and await the birth of spring...
In every species...there is rest until the returning. Strong thoughts here.

Majnu... I think you describe Michigan quite well... although you seem to live in California...
This is a lovely poem

thank you all so much for reading my work, it is extrmeley pleasant to check your mail in the morning and find several messages saying that people have read and appreciated my work.

diamond, you are right save perhaps in the case of writers. during summer our hearts sing and we flit to and fro in the world in the throes of rapture but winter's storms often confine us indoors and the lighting and thunder at times strikes our minds to motion.

midnitesun, The Presence is The Presence, call it the divine, the infinite, God, whatever.

wayoutwalt, thanks i like poking minds.

garysgirl, thank you, i am glad you enjoyed it.

madame chipmunk, so my mind reminds of michigan eh? hehe.
