An Angel and a Devil Wage war within my soul One fights for survival The other, for control They both keep winning battles Though they never win the war Each one learning lessons Each one becoming more Without one there is no other.. For who would wage a war If there were no opposition If no one were keeping score? No different point of view? Now that would be a boring place.. If we were all the same of thought Of color and of race.. Yet within our differences We all remain the same Like the Devil and the Angel   Caught up in this foolish game.. |

"Devil or angel, I can't make up my mind...." That song just popped into my ears and I'm trying really hard to "shake it loose and let it fall" OMG!!! I am "stuck in a moment of time" Someone needs to exorcise me, NOW! Hope no one sees me as I exit stage left, as usual. |

This is a wonderful poem gal..... (I really thought it might be about this fantasy I have with Earth Angel)......I guess there's no reason to explain who's the angel and who's the devil.... Tammy, I believe this to be my personal favorite of all your wonderful poetry that I have had the pleasure of reading. I am giving it a home in my library of poems that have special meaning for me. ~ special hugs for this special poem! Linda .........After posting this reply, I read the one Toe wrote. Funny thing is, when I read the title of your poem, I too, had the fleeting thought of Toe and I. tehe...and yes, dear Toe if you happen to read this reply, everyone knows who is the angel and who is the devil. I personally dont enjoy getting into arguments myself and see no constructive result of them. But this is a very cute poem and i enjoyed it. I have sent you nothing but angels, and I have placed nothing but miracles before you. |

Thanks to all for your wonderful replies! Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but my computer had a meltdown and I'm regulated to my libraries public access for now!!!  OH well..my computer was old anyway and I'm looking forward to getting a new Dell for Christmas!!  Until then, I'm afraid I won't get in here very often...but I will be thinking about you all every day and counting the hours until I can again join you on a more regular basis.
