Tarot Dreams “Maybe we will turn from the horoscope page to the Congressional Quarterly, and understand at last that our salvation lies not in our stars, but in ourselves.” --Naomi Wolf Kept in a velvet pouch Only she holds access to them Karma in those cards If lost she’ll lose control Her future in the wands cups swords pentacles Destiny fate fortune All those symbols holding so much power Lives her life following recycled forecasts square-shaped dreams Feels like the hanged man without Paper deities affirming her Existence But does she Exist Is she Alive Passing day after day being happy or sad depending On the hand dealt the crossing of fingers Sometimes it is more like prison Not all her cards are good far from it Yet She has believed them for so long gullibility spreads like cancer in her head Now too broken soulless to make her own path Easier believing in something other than Oneself So she continues Day after day never questioning Her only fault being wishful She lives in the clouds and follows the Stars Anything more would Break her |

loveitloveitloveit-- there is a danger to Tarot and you exemplified with this write. I do read Tarot, but rarely and only if I have a good understanding of the person for whom I read. Never for children, either. and NEVER for myself anymore. (learned that one the hard way) aw...geez...I could go on and on, but just know that I do indeed LOVE this--and welcome! |
