A man's world
Agreements made of slate black granite
Shrouds of velvet, stealth of gauntlet
Thrust to throat the softer thought
Taut to flex though cruel onslaught

And what of honor bears this quest?
Seemed innocent by Satan's guest
Yet temperate these measures be
Taught to be bold this fair born she

A man's world
Agreements clear of crystal shine
Satin slips through salty brine
Trust only this beware of sorts
Thought to be weakened worn retorts

Against the grain slate black remissed
Her velvet glove on iron fist
Yet carried by the warmth of truth
Brought to the fore in certain youth

A man's world
And what agreements carved and clawed?
Shrouds like smoke of ice tomb thawed
Struck and shattered thankfully
Taught to be bold this fair born she

(big hugggssssssss) Sadly this is so very true, mans words still seem to speak so loudly when it can help listening to both men and women together and end these stereotypes once and for all and there we can begin to finally make agreements that can make unanimous comfort! (sigh) You speak with such wisdom, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful hart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

How much saner would the world be, if women had more power...
A striking poem, Kathy... so very well expressed
