Anger is your stupid face, lies, crying, and bureaucracy.

Anger is dying with a singing heart, tear-moist face, while some idiot with heavy boots crushes your outstretched hands unto residual, dirty fallacies.

Anger is humanity failing to reach out and clasp the trembling hands of traumatized, forgotten mothers.

Anger is for the inadequate technology that couldn’t save my mom, the brutalizing and inherently destructive effect of chemotherapy on a human, and the silence that resonates within me everyday for the lack of any tangible explanation.

Anger is not seizing the moment, letting all false ideas about love quell this opportunity we have to create all manner of peaceful dreams...

Anger is spitting in the face of a saint.

Indeed, Anger is the ambience for today...
A bell tolls, upholding honor, while children die for lack of love alone.

Anger is smashing God, convinced and convicted, taunted and torn; though singularly pained, for one soliloquy of an eternal heartbeat.

Anger is kicking the ground while losing ground, roundabout outright shunning luminous faith for grime, labeled guilt.

Anger is this seething, inescapable wave which drowns out compassion’s melody...

This power is a force beyond care, remembrance, and security; it renders asunder all tenderness, our essentially soulful soft wishes of innocence.

Anger is denial, decrying, a hoarse call to arms.

Tension builds and kills soldiers, merely fighting for freedom on the battlefield of aspiration.

Indeed-

Anger is an overwhelming ambience.

A banner proclaiming wayward arrogance...
Though parted paths diverge so far apart...Wisdom wells inside to collectively rise and take a stand against the madness of anger’s unstoppable tide...

If we let it.

Wow. I'm a little shaken. That was very powerful, and there was lots to think about. Thank you.

Wow! I'm so glad I stopped to read this write! This is a very powerful, angry, write, but I especially enjoyed the last stanza. It leaves hope...if we let it. Thanks for sharing, and BTW-I'm very sorry about your Mom.

Very interesting write. Much to think about such as.....

I think:

....a saint wouldn't be a saint if she/he didn't get spit on, and that is one of the nicer things which happens.

I too am sorry for the loss of your mother. May my God bless you.

Hugs and Warm Regards, Pat

Thank you.

A saint is strengthened.

I'm starting to believe that emotions are the basis of our reality.  This energy seems to be the sponsoring motivation of our actions.  There is not one word, caress, or glance that moves a soul that doesn't contain emotion... and in this way, our truth.

Emotions equal truth. Truth is God.

My anger is real, thus inspired.

Amen.
