i meant to write a poem
i know i did
but i cannot for your gone
and i know only apathy

i meant to write a poem
i know i did
but the words dont come
now your gone

I meant to write a poem
I know i did

Take a good look at my face
Well, don't my smile look out of  place
look a little closer its easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

was thinking as I read this, how we as poets measure things by poems wrote, or inspiration lost and found...
as in this case...your regret is felt.
touching write Paul.

No one has ever shown me how to see the world the way I see it now ...
and I never saw blue like that before.
