For Now, I Wait (A Tanka)
~ By Sue ~

When the time is right
I will make the move I need
To be free of him
Get my life back in order
Then things will be much better

But for now I wait
Until these injuries heal
To make that one move
That will make me feel so free
Then happier I will be

Sue, I can't wait to read your first poem after you are able to leave. I know it will have freedom and happiness shining through.
Take care always.

Sue, that day will come very soon. The important thing is for you to heal physically and then you can continue the process of mental and emotional healing.

You are doing so well; I am very proud for you. And I like this Tanka a lot.

Sue,
Excellent write. And only you can know when the time is right! Courage and peace to you dear girl.

Sandra,
I just hope I have access to the internet to be able to post my first poem after I leave. Thank you for replying.

Noah,
  Thank you.

Marti
Thank you! I am slowly getting better. Just when I think the pain might be gone, it comes back.

Nancy
Thank you, for your help and support. I am glad you like this tanka.

angsana
I try to hang onto this hope everyday. There are times it just seems to fade away, though.

Larry
Thank you, for all of the courage and support you have given me.
