Rough

here I am
unpressed
in creased clothes
wondering if
the light
at the end
of the tunnel
has a bulb
burnt out

I’m not disappointed,  I never expected anything from you.

Sure matches my day
Hardly noticed the fresh shirt I put on this morning
Are we on the same train . . .

1slick_lady,

I hope the light bulb gets changed soon. Here's hoping for a brighter day tomorrow. I enjoyed your poem.

Helen,
Don't look now, but I think he is there in the dark...next to you! A wonderful picture you paint in this.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Very nice poem.. Thank you for sharing .

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.
