The Ravens Song

Chaos shows a dragon’s mane
Full of fire full of Cain
Ravens splore a chorus caw
Caws that spore deaths entrance door

Foibles shine like gems at night
Velvet back bring gems to bright
Croaking frogs sing in roar
Specters of a petit fore

Morning brings a mist of dew
Dew to sate the mornings coup
Wetting dust of changing spore
Wanderlust of shifting core

Makes the mind to stay a goal
Goal a light to sway a soul
Phantoms play a knight in draft
Seeking grails a soul to raft.

Pay no heed to senseless rhyme
Rhyming nonsense of our time.

Hey... that's no fair! You're telling people to skip everything I write... and I thought we were pals???? LOL

Seriously, Seymour... I agree with JM... wisdom lurks within your every work... even when it hides behind laughter's skirts or dresses up in nonsense. *S* Which is why reading you is always a priority... and always rewarded. *S*

Good Morning, Mr. T.!

I have lent mine ear with great intent to thine's Raven's song --as always!---and with much admiration!

Sy,
thanks for introducing me to splore- now if I only knew what it meant.

(smiles) Sometimes I find there to be more sense in nonsense and more nonsense in sense, so I'll just pick nonsense thank you! (big huggsssssss) This is marvelous, sweet friend, I just love how you express yourself, evermore the raven says, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Keth,
Splore means, frolic or commotion.
Thank you for the read.

Noah,
Enjoyed your comment, thank you.

Thanks,
it seems that I cannot x splore
all that commotion through the door
when are these words, that rushing in
are indication of this thing?
and could I frolic with this word?
I think that this would be absurd
Instead  I'm saying nevermore,
can I explain this poet's splore
Nice work and I learned something. Next time I wish to frolic... I'll be splore footed
