Let me cry.
Just let me cry.
Hold me. Whisper lullabye.
Kiss the salt that rolls down breast--
but let me cry--just let me cry...

Let it rain.
Be my sky.
Open cage and let me fly.
Let me sing a falcon's crest--
I'll be your wren--you be my sky.

Damn these bars
of fragile glass--
damn the future
writ by past--
I would smash them all away
if I could have another way...

So let me cry.
Just let me cry.
Scold me and I'll wish I'd died.
Pluck the feathers from my breast.
Use them to rest your sweet head.

Sleep, the wren sings lullabye.

"Let me cry," she sings. She cried.

Let it Rain...Let it Rain on me ... Oh Let it Rain on me...

The wren weeps where the dove cannot sing.

Thank you.
