Myriad of Unkown Places

My man is a real man,
He earns his bread in honest work
He puts food on the table,
Holds me when he's able,
Scrubs the floor and pots and pans.

My man is a real man,
He enjoys football and fishing,
Barbequing and playing,
And I am the luckiest woman on Earth
When he holds my hand.

My man is a real man.
He is big and solid and warm.
He wraps me in his bear hugs
And squishes my ribs,
And in summer gets really tan.

My man is a real man.
His love helps me to live.
And anything I ask of him,
He has been willing to give;
And though we have our
Rainy days, and some that
Shake with thunder,
We know each other well
And don't allow to tear
Asunder
The trials we have walked
Through together,
Hailstorms and super
Sunny weather.

My man is a real man.
He makes me more the real
Myself; makes me question
The kind of person I am,
And whether I can improve.
When I'm down, he tries
To joke with me and make
Me feel better.
He swept me from instability
And made a secure
Home for me.  He keeps hope
For both of us
When mine is failing.

I am proud of him,
And grateful for the life
He's sharing.  He's taken
Me places I've never seen,
Blankets me with his caring.
And I sometimes speak
Thoughtlessly, when petty
Irritants send me flaring;
And then I am ashamed
For causing him such pain.

I may sound as a child,
Rambling and disjointed,
But I want him to know
I appreciate the love
With which I am anointed,
And the rhyme I use,
Perhaps too trite,
Untalented and childlike,
And perhaps it matters
Little to him that I may
Spout this way-

But I'm trying to tell
You, once and for all,
That YOU are my true
Prince Charming.

It's not always easy
to please a woman...
sounds like this guy
has his act straight!

Good, for the both of you!
