Peaceful Mariner From a warship underway at sea. I chanced upon a spirit, unfettered and free. A creature that frolicked in our wake. Playing and leaping for fun's sake. A gray dolphin, rarely alone. Has two or three others, not on it's own. Standing my watch on the starboard side. This peaceful mariner swam the night tide. The sea is this graceful one's domain. From the Barrier Reef to the Spanish Main. Looking upon you speaks to me of God. As you swim amongst your pod. Peaceful mariner, when we meet again. Hopefully you will trust the race of men. My vessel hopefully does not intrude. The vast expanse of your brood. By your leave I shall see you again. The peace you bring the race of men. |

 (smiles) Awwwwwwwww, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I love dolphins so much and they are one of my favorite nature friends as I love all animals so much just as I love the tropical regions! whether you intended it or not you juxtaposed the present states of the two most intelligent life forms humans know about. dolphins have brains twice as big as our's. one builds warships, the other simply frolics in the ocean. -majnu |
