I have so many friends and love them every one If I tried to say who I like best I don't think it could be done Some friends I've had for years, some for just a few Like all of you I've met on these pages of blue There's my True Love's Mom and Dad, there for me always Being as good to me as anyone's been in all of my days The rest of his family, I can't begin to name But all of them I've met are friends just the same Of course, there's my family, all of them friends to me When we all get together, it's really a sight to see Laughing and playing, the kidding around we do Like a bunch of kids we usually act like, too So many friends I can't count them, they are far and near I have them everywhere, each one in their own way is dear Though, I think I'll have to say my True Love's my very best friend For as friends we started out and will be until our days end "Love makes the world go around" ~~with love and hugs from Ethel~~ [This message has been edited by garysgirl (11-10-2002 08:39 PM).] |

Julie, thanks for reading my poem and for your reply. I appreciate it. Oh, I think you probably have more friends than you think. I joined your MSN group. Did you notice? I joined it yesterday, I think, but my computer hasn't been working right, so I left it at my friends house last night for her to work on it. She's still got to come here tomorrow to do something else to it. Anyway, I didn't do much on the computer yesterday and probably won't get to tomorrow. "Love makes the world go around" |

Thanks Nancy lee. I appreciate your reading my poem and replying to it. Yeah, Gary and I started out first as friends before we fell in love. He is a very special person...so sweet and compassionate....and the best looking man I think I've ever met!!!!!! HeeHee ( but, I'd love him even if he wasn't...that's just an added benefit....) Wind, you are very right. If we try to do that, somebody will feel left out and get hurt feelings. I hope everyone understands that Gary is my very best friend, though. We talk to each other about EVERYTHING, and have for almost the whole time we've known each other. We love each other unconditionally, too...no matter what.. "Love makes the world go around" |
