Time’s Gift Part 2 of the trilogy The sun won’t stand still in time for me No matter that my soul cries piteously The wind will still blow, as it has to do Time can’t stop because I’ve lost you Day will follow night once more The sea will still rush to meet the shore All that should be will continue so Everything in nature has its natural flow Seasons may change but they follow on Summer’s warm sun by autumn will be gone Winter’s cold can’t hold back the spring Which when it comes new life will bring And just because you aren’t here with me Doesn’t mean I’ve lost your spirit totally Within my soul I’ll still cherish your heart While it is with me love will never depart The world will still spin around in space Measuring the minutes of this time and place The sky will continue to arch overhead All this will not stop because you are dead And my heart will continue to beat on There will still be inside my soul’s love song I will still hear your voice within me Telling me to strive to live on contentedly Time will pass and when it does this I know I will follow you when it’s my time to go Marsha Part 1 The Price /pip/Forum74/HTML/001649.html Part 3 But I Promised /pip/Forum74/HTML/001759.html Breathe through the heat of our desire Thy coolness and they balm Let sense be dumb let flesh retire Speak through the earthquake wind and fire [This message has been edited by Marsha (11-10-2002 02:39 PM).] |

Mushy, Few can walk this path with such grace. And even fewer can describe it. You do it with such love and passion. This too has touched me in a very personal way.  If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
