Reflections And Reveries I have thought of you The past few weeks Sitting here by the lake Viewing distant peaks Reflection on the lake From a wooden seat Reminiscing the times Here we used to meet The beauty of nature Stillness and serene Peaks reaching skies Sunset hangs between The sunset descends So perfect the view The warmth and glow It reminds me of you A lake in tranquillity Reflections so clear Time passes wistfully I wish you were here Calmly sat reflecting Journey I undertake In the quiet solitude Reveries by the lake Hope©2002 |
