Listening to every heart

God’s Twilight

God dipped a paintbrush from his Spring
Then dabbled in the Summer’s sigh
And in to Fall He brought three things
To cast before my eye

And in my awe I sat, inspired
But with no words to credit Him
And still, my muse conspired
To leave a little bit of whim.

So with you, I share this sight
That upon a branch your thoughts might swing
And to gaze onto a soft twilight
Where you’ll hear His Angels sing.

I luv the picture....reminds me of the sunrises that appear every clear night on Galiano Island. Beau-ti-ful!

Lovely poem, m'dear!

Karilea...this is so very special, for my own reasons.
Mark's reply left me really in deep thought,
with goosebumps...
Thank you for this.

Mark's reply has me thinking as well, and the vision you saw in this, and the words you could convey - well, I would expect nothing less from you - excellent!

Gentle, soothing, inspiring--and written with grace.

Lovely to behold...
