Moved from a shack to a barn

If this is over
We should let it be over

If we’re really done
Then I’ll have mine
Very well done

We can stand in the center
Of this trysting place
And burn it to the ground

Invite friends and neighbors
To see us consumed
Within the conflagration

And weep with us

Perhaps you will be a Phoenix?
I feel the heat of your goodbye.

Love always burns twice - once at the start and once at the end ... Don't let your bonfire burn you to much sweet poet as you have a talent the world will miss . Great poem, I enjoyed reading it .
