Mahal Kita!!!

Oh, the one who left me in the cold,
With nothing; screaming at the sky.
Not knowing whether I would live or die.

I prayed about this 'dear' of mine,
everynight, for God to show him
the wrong and the right.

I cried out his name during times
I felt so alone.He was never there;
My heart should've known.

All he needed was trust
and understanding.
If only he believed in our love...
-everlasting.

Sometimes Love is like awkward poetry, the words may not be just right
but when love comes freely from the heart the message sings!

A good cry, and the title left me thinking you are already on your way to putting him in the past.
Maybe.

Kristine, this is really a beautiful poem, just sad to me. I always feel for someone who has lost a love, but am glad to see when someone is healing from the hurt. Thanks for sharing with us.
