Dear Velocity,
Adrenaline anticipates the rush of images to be.
The gleam of chrome, the smell of fuel, encompass this reality.
Here, sleek design and stream-lined shapes do battle with opposing force,
and weakness, just the slightest flaw, will terminate your chosen course.

As intakes whir we come alive, the thrum of power through our veins.
I feed her life-blood to devour, in turn she gives me speed, insane.
Propellents burn within our hearts to vaporize the track below,
no longer are we seperate parts, three second bursts of speed we know.

That there are those who travel thus, inspired at times...

                                Your Fellow Man

(Whose mode of transport is the bus, with pen and paper in his hand)

Ha! I love it-the pace is furious, and the last line is hilarious!

If it is great velocity you seek, don't get on a Denver RTD.
LOL, I enjoyed this free ride immensely.
