I want to write while creative juices are flowing.
I want to remember words as day is going.

Tell myself as remember thoughts while driving in my car.
I'll remember these thoughts when I get home, it's not that far.

But too many "MOMS!" interrupted inbetween.
And words not written at night, fade into dream.

So here I am, stuck on big ideas, yet lacking words.
Looking forward to nights quiet when thoughts can be heard.

Yet, as I look forward to quiet evenings, children sleeping, turning into silent nights.
I seem to fall asleep, exhausted, just when the moment should seem so right.

(sigh) Oh June, I know this feeling ever so well, sweet friend, it can be so distracting indeed how the real world can toy with our thoughts and we never have that breath to write them down! (kiss on cheek) May you finally have that extra time so you can share so many of your lovely words, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet June, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

and so your wrote clever rhymes about wanting to write instead.
I related to this so well...I have the worst memory..if i dont write it down right then its gone....once I wrote a poem in the grocery store on my list...right there in the isle...people were looking at me funny..but when inspiration calls whats a girl to do. *L*
I bought a pocket tape recorder to keep in the car...almost wrecked writing and driving..its my muse's fault, shes the woman driver LOL

No one has ever shown me how to see the world the way I see it now ...
and I never saw blue like that before.

June, I'm like this, too, and it seems that Noah and JM are, too. I wonder if everyone who writes poetry is this way? I hope more people reply to this so we will know. I've thought about writing down words as soon as they come to my mind, as JM said, but it's hard to do if you're in a lot of traffic at the time.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I hope you find the time to write much more and that you post it here.

JM-I thank you for your cute reply, it seems your muse and mine must just be toying with our creativity sometimes.

garysgirl-Thank you for your sweet response.  It seems you are blessed and cursed just like JM and myself.
