I watch where it went
In resting on the day spent
Gone there very soon
The sliver of silver moon,
The sun rises slow
Masking stars in rising glow
Melting the mist sheets
Warming as the sun rise greets
Winning the battle
It’s day as I take paddle
And stroke to the shore
Leaving floating thoughts once more
To what the day has in store.

I joined the view where
the two of us could share
The moon in it's reign
before sun's rise again

Twinkling in myst
the night blues kissed
by the thoughts soon to be
afloat in skies sea...
