                             Pantoum--Computer Unaware

computer hummed and clicked and popped
as it sat upon its shelfin lair
its letters rose and slipped and dropped
as words flew on to pages there

stories sizzled and wept and sighed
as it sat upon its shelfin lair
                             images were true and tried
as words flew on to pages there

its master steamed, cajoled and sang
stories sizzled and wept and sighed
until the midnight hour rose and rang
                             images were true and tried

its master steamed, cajoled and sang
its letters rose and slipped and dropped
until the midnight hour rose and rang
computer hummed and clicked and popped

(smiles) Oh my gosh, I love all the onomatopoeia in this, sweet friend, you make the computer come alive with all the percussion and personification, you are so very talented and a delight to read, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
