Runs for miles along a pure stream,
Delivers a punch in the moon light,
Cradles and cares not if kids be right.

Is this describing an abusive father?

What does the stream along which the kiss runs represent?

Thanks for sharing.
God bless!

It's about how a father protects his children from the ills of society. Thank you.

Well.. It was good. But it dont tell that its the father doing it.. Its way to short and not enough information.. Try making it bigger, and add some more info.. It sure will help.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Robert, this is so well said, sadly the world is such a dangerous and sad place for children to grow up in today and I only pray we can still have a huge share of good fathers to help their children be strong and embrace the world with hope! (sigh) This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Too often we get caught up in the words and less in the meaning---this one said it quite clearly to me---it is all a father's kiss should be, and then some!

Robert,
Common symbols are hard to find. Enjoyed the read.
