Background:
*About fish
*8 lines
*Rhyme
*Not funny
--------------------------------

Me and my dad,
Always like to fish.
But sometimes it rain
"Please stop" we wished.

We would stay out for hours.
Waiting for a bite
But sometimes,
We'd have to wait til night.

Me and my dad,
Out at the lake.
But sometimes
We couldn’t stay awake.

My dad snoring,
And I’m catching bass
Then he would wake up,
And I would come in last.

Them days were good
But they have gone
We no longer,
Fish til dawn.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

Chris, I enjoyed the poem....but what I really liked was that you shared wonderful memories of a good time you had with your Dad. I enjoyed that. The ending was sad, though, and made me wonder why the days were gone !?!
