Drops break away.
Panes are bleeding water.
Drops break away.
The sun scatters ice.
Drops break away.
The road is throwing marbles.
Drops break away.
Travel lays her palms.
Drops break away.
Closing over color.
Drops break away.
Pins me to her corner.
Drops break away.
Revealing the hours.
Drops break away.
Revealing my eyes.

Drops break away.
Is she prayer perspire?
Drops break away.
Is she paper poem?
Drops break away.
Crumble in the fire.
Drops break away.
Burning, curling rose.
Drops break away.
Is she what she is she?
Drops break away.
Liquid tremble faces?
Drops break away.
Revealing the hours.
Drops break away.
Revealing her eyes.

Drops break away.
Can her lips find flower?
Drops break away.
Is the dawn wet sure road?
Drops break away.
Have we climbed its surface?
Drops break away.
Have we spoken time?
Drops break away.
Did she pick the orchids?
Drops break away.
Did she tear the lily?
Drops break away.
They reveal their morning.
Drops break away.
They reveal our eyes.

Oh, this one is so very rich in thought! I read all the way through, sat back, and the different pieces washed over my mind in one stroke......loved this, great job!

Pen how you truly feel...
it is a safety-valve for the soul!

Mikey, I wish I could hear this poem read aloud by you, it strikes me as poem that would reveal its full power when read aloud by the author.

This is not intended as a criticism rather as a compliment, not sure if it came across as that, either way great write.

It's okay, brian. I have tough skin. Glad you enjoyed, friend. And I think every poem around would benefit from a reading by the author. Dang, T.S., come back to life!

Thank you for posting your lovely poem... I enjoyed it.. Thank you again.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

There is alot that I liked about this poem. Perhaps it was the perfect picture of nature and man or the ringers it kept making in my head. I'm not sure but, it was great to read. Thank you.

I'm glad you both enjoyed. This was inspired by listening to the Cocteau Twins "Pearly Dewdrops' Drops" early in the morning, when dreams and waking were pretty much interchangeable occurences.
