Fireside bed

His soft shelter

Their home

Still

Humans roam

Most do

And some

Dwell

(smiling) and who domesticated whom?

Fireside
  sparks crackle
    as cold air
      expunged
        protests

Bedside
  sheets wrinkle
    as old thoughts
      exhumed
         exhaust

(big hugggsssssss) This is so well-said, sweet friend, it saddens me to see so many struggling to survive today and try to find the courage to move on to find that flame! (sad sigh) This is poignant, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Mark, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Loving hearts beat.
Sheets and faces wrinkle.
Birds and time fly.
Roost here awhile,
please.

Thank you for your words, Ron...  but it was never "in jest" regarding my suggesting your publishing your work;  rather, a friendly prompt to encourage you to do so, and seriously, I'd be the first customer.  Good talking to you too -- hope those PC's cooperate for you...

That's part of the idea, Robert...  thank you for stopping by.

Gentle Spirit, I always appreciate a friendly smile...  thank you.

Thank you, Sunshine...  so is "pleased"...

Noah -- you keep reading & I'll keep writing...  Thanks for the reliable positivity...

Sy, I appreciate your seal of approval.

Nancy, I'm back for a while, armed with speed and a little more time.  Thank you for your enthusiasm -- I always appreciate it.

Maureen...  you humble me, but I accept your crowning with honor.  Thank you.

Kacy, how could I refuse such a welcome?  Thank you much.
