There once was a time
Reason provided mates
With cues for one another
And evenings of much love

Now that humanity has few dimensions
It's awful to remain the same
One makes the promise
One breaks in need
Others quench their motives
Nevertheless everliving
Beckons a severable prudence
To cherish and hold
The pure bold
forever untold

I believe I know where you're coming from, and it gets harder and harder to take people's words at face value any more...  Someone once defined a cynic as a disillusioned idealist, and there may be some truth to that...

No D- here...just the comment
that we are born, filled with hope...
and we mold it
ourselves.

Very deep writing. There is so much to think about, isn't there?

(big hugggssssss) Oh Robert, I too agree with Mark's knowledge he shared of what a cynic is, I truly feel ideas can be conveyed and mixed with aesthetics and I only hope the disillusioned can find that light on the next page! (sigh) This is well-said., sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
