~*~

Weeping willows, so softly swaying,
Feathered fingers brush verdant lawn,
Sunny rays kiss misty rainbows,
When summer rains are gone.

Mighty oaks, with arms stretched upward,
Touch heaven's skies clear blue,
Glorious crowns of golden glory.
God's gifts for me and you.

There's beauty, bounty all around,
From Father Sky to Mother Ground.

~*~

Sweet earthy angel I don't think you could write anything that was other than wonderful if you tried. This is splendid and a challenge well met.

Marti ~

You're still "twirling" from my "tongue twisters"? Hey, your reply could make a good one!

twirling from tongue twisters
twirling from tongue twisters
twirling from tongue twisters

or

tongue tying twirling tongue twisters
tongue tying twirling tongue twisters
tongue tying twirling tongue twisters

I may want to do a Tongue Twisters part two!

Thank you for the rousing endorcement of my "challenging" efforts!

~ May you forever be you!

Linda

Challenge well met.. Good poem.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

Wind ~

Thanks for posting this challenge! This was a challenge for sure--but one I really enjoyed doing. I pleased that you thought I succeeded in my efforts and that you have chosen to put it in your library!
