Her One True Food Is Love

Harmonious words reflect upon life’s treasures
Each moment in time a precious gift to behold
Radiating silhouettes of two lovers engaged in conversation.

Once a starving child frozen within society’s time frame
Nourishing morsels of emotion just beyond heaven’s door
Enraptured within a soul once frightened and alone.

Timeless journeys of past and present combine cosmically
Relishing touches of love’s sweet embrace upon her skin
Unlimited possibilities surround an aura of completeness
Elaborating upon unknown adventures of the future.

Forgotten pains of life’s yesteryear buried deep
Occupied by an oracle once thought closed to love
Opportunities of love’s passion just beyond tactile reality
Dejected and unaided she succumbs to exhaustion

Imperishable serenity removing all pangs of hunger
Symphonic music receptive upon desirous ears

Leaden days occupy a lifetime of depression
Obstinacy conquered mundane passages of time
Valiant waves of thought becoming her destiny
Energizing her spontaneous vocalizations remarking….
Her one true food is love.

Beautiful!... Very great poem!

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.
