Between a laugh and a tear...

Ebb and Flow

You say you know me
But still you wonder why
And ask if my words
Were no more than silvered lies

Well ask your questions
But don’t ask of me
For who I am
I no longer see

Maybe a wanderer
Amid the faceless sea
Searching the darkness
For a chance to be free

It’s all just an illusion
Perhaps more than less
And we’re all lost within
This fleeting caress

What’s here and now
Is just ebb and flow
As for what is real
I ask, who’s to know?

Maybe all one can do is hope to end up with the right regrets.  ~Arthur Miller

Gentle Spirit ~ Sadly my visits are less often than I’d like, and even then I tend to read much more than I can write! As for “well” I guess that’s all a matter of perspective! . Always appreciate your thoughts and always good to know you enjoy my ramblings, take care!

I agree with Donna, it's been too long, and this is a splendid write.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Eddie, this is so very true, sweet friend, I think none of us know but that is what makes dreams and expectations so magical as there is a reat deal of sand dollars still to come our way! (smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is fabulous, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eddie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I really enoyed this poem.. It reminded me of something.. I cant remember... But its a good poem.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

"ebb and flow" ... a very cool phrase and theme...
something I expect from a POET like your self
So good to read your rhymes and see your smiling face poet Eddie sir
