Watch me as I'm passing,
And you'll see me wave goodbye.
Maybe I won't make it,
But at least I have to try.

I can't see life without you,
You have always been a part,
Of every dream I've ever had,
And each beat of my heart.

But, darling, something's missing,
No matter how we try.
Somewhere in the passing time,
We somehow let love die.

Until, now, we've only embers,
Of what once was so aflame,
And passion fades to bleakness,
As we play the romance game.

So maybe you will miss me,
As I am missing you...
Perhaps the landscapes of our minds,
May be a bluer, blue.

So here's my best, you write the rest,
As we go on alone-
And on the canvas of our lives,
Dear, you can paint me...gone.

A very sad write of goodbye. The alone of a relationship gone. Very nicely done.

That was a very good poem... You are talented... Keep it up my friend...

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

GS I don't believe I have seen this side of your words often, but you have penned a wonderful verse with this write. Very well done.

Its a shame how we let love die, isn't it? You have showed an emotional side, but your strength as well. I loved the read.

John,

It is indeed sad to see love die. I enjoyed this write though.
