Post iron curtain spirits thrash
would there be an easier way into friendlier lands
where passports and credentials are feverishly questioned
What fate lies on the other side
where the grass is just as green?

What other glorious means of transport can there be
except for something biblical and promising
here comes the flood...and we can refer to mankind
here comes the Arc which sets out from time to time.

The Arc is not just a boat in port, you see
passengers board in numbers greater than twos or threes
figurative arcs set afloat among the seas of humanity
some stay adrift forever searching for reasons...
tempted to propel worn causes to antiquity
never quite finding the Terra Firma of their dreams.

barges of immigrants wave their hands perpetually
some dream to continue their lives in cellars
others will run off to wheat belt lands of plenty
there will be the few who have kept diaries...
post iron curtain spirits flash
will there ever be an easier way to enter new lands?

A thought provoking write here...images of the man made floods...those we shelter so dearly in the comfort of our heads...
I really liked this one. ThisDiamond

Diamond, Loner,

I might have continued on the mental anguish of the immigration process

(sigh) It is so very hard to tell, but one things for sure, and that is we are not travelling in pairs anymore and that saturates the original concept of how such emergence began! (big huggsssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, I just love the way you think, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Martin darling boy This is simply one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. I truly don’t get here enough but there is only so much time in the day. I’m glad I didn’t get to miss this utter beauty it is extremely special the writing is perfect and again you two have written pure gold. Beautiful work really beautiful, You have always been a favourite writer of mine and I really don’t get the chance to tell you often enough that your writing really shines. This is exquisite

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
