somebody's dungeon

Come cover me with the hushed
whispers of sensual dreams
of magical touch upon skin
by the feather light of spirit
seen only on landscape of sleep
that mystical place of naught
there, hidden among the thought
where I seek cover from what evil
may seep into the mist of dream.

(smiles) Oh Anne, I truly believe love is a dream catcher, and also like a shaman to chase away the evil spirits that invade ones soul when the beauty of love is but the remedy and explanation the wind offers! (sigh) This is magnificent, sweet friend, I just love your style, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

hushed whispers, sensual dreams, magical touch, feather light, etc. the cliches were concrete shoes for this piece.

one thing that was good however was the rythm. it really sounded great when read out loud. however, for me at least, cliches killed it.

Noah, thanks so much for always reading and responding.

majnu, good thing I adore you, which I do, cause if I didn't you may just get on my bad side. But alas, I like ya so much, you never do. I know the way you feel about cliches, and you are right, I sure peppered this one with more than was necessary. So this is a dream cliche, how's that.

Now it works right?

i am not sure what you mean by dream cliche but what you said made me think.

you want to escape the evil that may creep into your dreams so you fall back to what is familiar, and comfortable. in some ways i suppose the cliches reflect that.
