In a world full of restrictions
Lies the mirror of your greatest enemy
Taunting you in self reflection
This magnetic parasite
Will attaches its ball and chain

Free up this gloomy shadow
Which even clings around in sunshine
Escape in a spirited aberration
Setting course with your inner brilliance
Independent reaffirmation guiding your potential

In a universe with no boundaries
Dance with the melody of your heart knowing
That the tune in you can self perpetuate
On its own energy to revitalize creativity
In the celestial gardens of endless delight

The blossoms you must now imagine
Arrive surrounded in an enticing fragrance
Of your mind’s intoxicating power
Creating hypnotic trances of mystic spells
That captures an audience in its charm
Enrapturing them wanting so much more

In this ultimate addiction
Of the greatest inner satisfaction
Ride the waves of spiritual exploration
That will cast away the demons
Building a future in the destiny it deserves

Thought: You can drown on your own limitations where the suffocation of depression will scar you for life.

Much truth in this writing, David...
much, indeed.

A lot of truth in this poem.

Cold hands means a warm heart
