Listening to every heart

SKY DREAMING

It was all he knew,
this plains expanse,
his childhood taken up
with open space and freedom

he longed to fly into the clouds
and slip some surly bonds
to find pride in trying

and he did.

His travels took him
where space was declined
to those not free,
where tyranny ruled,
and he slipped home again,
home again,

once his travels
had let him see enough.

The little boy
of yesterday
still watches the spacious skies
where his dreams reached up

and he touched the face
of God.

This is, indeed, a most gloriously beautiful collaboration.....
the last line...
perfection.

Reminds me of my first flight in a sail plane.Only the sound of the air rushing over the canopy.I felt as though there was nothing between me and heaven.

Yet again. You shocked me with your lovely words. Great poem.

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

Lovely and Powerful collaberation
The combination of words and image
intertwined create a greath stregnth
of verbosity in sight and sound

Well Done to you Both
